Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM

The Best Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM. Glucosamine Sulfate, Chondroitin Sulfate, and MSM are the most common joint rebuilding supplements taken by people as well as their animal companions. It can be combined with other pain relieving supplements like Turmeric for Arthritis or Boswellia, or bone building nutrients like Boron, Calcium, Vitamin D3 and Magnesium.

  • The Good: It really is proven to work
  • The Bad: It does require you to flex the joints for complete recovery
  • The Ugly: You must use it regularly until the arthritis is reversed

Natural Arthritis Supplement like these are much safer than the prescription medications that cause a laundry list of harmful side effects. But does glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM really work to rebuild joints or provide any effective pain relief?

how glucosamine works

What is Glucosamine Sulfate?

What is Glucosamine Sulfate? Glucosamine sulfate is a beneficial nutrient that is one of your body's natural building materials. It occurs naturally in your body and is composed of glucose molecules and an amino acid called glutamine. It's main function is to repair damaged tissue and particularly cartilage (yes, that cartilage that cushions your joints, when it is there in proper amounts). If you're suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), then GCM formulas can rebuild damaged joints and save your joints from being dissolved. If you are dealing with RA then you can learn how to stop the cause of it and reverse it in many cases, see: Natural Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatment.

Glucosamine has another positive side effect: it has been found to be highly effective for weight loss. Its high glutamine content helps block insulin, which unchecked leads to diabetes, carbohydrate cravings and ultimately fat storage. Taking enough Glucosamine can lead to taming that Carb Craving Monster! Not bad for a supplement that can help you reverse your arthritis, particularly the Osteoarthritis variety.

Glucosamine for Arthritis

Glucosamine for Arthritis not only helps give your body the raw materials to rebuild your joints but it also does provide pain relief. This does take some time with glucosamine by itself for joint pain relief, but if you stick with it, you will get some results. The good news is that you can combine it with other supplements that work synergistically (work even better together than separate). Let's look at the counterpart to glucosamine – chondroitin.

Glucosamine Side Effects

Glucosamine Side Effects. Glucosamine has no side effects and safe at almost any dosage. It is still wise to use it in a balanced formula as it works best as such. Your body will flush any glucosamine that it does not use. It can be safely combined with other arthritis herbs and minerals. It is usually combined with Chondroitin Sulfate and MSM.

Glucosamine Dosage

Glucosamine Dosage is usually 500-1,000mg 2 to 3 times per day while rebuilding your joints and to reduce arthritis joint pain. Take it with your daily meals and it will be absorbed better. You are rebuilding your joints, cartilage and connective tissues so it will take 3-6 month of continued usage to see dramatic and lasting results.

Remember that time will pass anyway and if you do not take it, you will be far worse off. Your joints will normally degrade if you do nothing, so adding the proper supplements just makes sense. Choosing to do nothing will be far more expensive and debilitating. Just hang around your doctor's office (pain and high prescription medication bills, and office visits co-payments as well.) Glucosamine is a bargain by far!

how chondroitin works

What is Chondroitin Sulfate?

What is Chondroitin Sulfate? Chondroitin Sulfate is a negatively charged molecule that acts within the joint socket and is naturally attracted to joint surfaces. Chondroitin is a little more expensive than glucosamine, and does help rebuild the cartilage in the joints but not by itself! It really needs to be combined with glucosamine to have its effectiveness. It is a little more expensive than glucosamine, so it usually has a lower dosage when combined with it.

Chondroitin Side Effects

Chondroitin Side Effects. Chondroitin has no side effects and is pretty safe at any dosage. What your body does not use it will flush. That said proper balance is still suggested, which is why it typically combined with Glucosamine and MSM.

msm and arthritis

What is MSM?

What is MSM? MSM or Methyl Sulfonyl Sulfate is organic sulfur that is the building block of most cell tissues, particularly the joint socket. MSM is also beneficial for your skin, and can help your complexion. Who doesn't want to have more radiant skin, and less painful joints? That's why it's a highly beneficial and popular supplement, amongst the baby boomer generation as well as those with chronic arthritis, skin conditions or professional athletes.

MSM works well with Chondroitin and Glucosamine for arthritis pain relief and rebuilding a healthy joint socket. If you are taking calcium supplements make sure the type of calcium is calcium butyrate combined with magnesium  (Calcium Magnesium Butyrate) as they need to be taken together to be properly absorbed by your body for bone and joint health. It can be combined with GCM supplements too.

Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM Benefits

What are the best Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM Benefits? Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM work by far the best in combination Vitamin C also helps MSM work even more effectively. And I do take the combination after I perform a heavy workout or am on my feet all day. I like to have all the advantages in living a quality of life, even in my later years. Mobility and presence of mind are very important to me.

You will want to use the best Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM supplement you can get, because it will save your cartilage from being destroyed and causing immeasurable pain and disability. You can find it in the proper balance to save your joints from destruction of an over acidic body and the effects of wear and tear from aging and overexertion.

What Causes Inflammation of Joints?

What Causes Inflammation of Joints? The real challenge with arthritis is to reduce the joint inflammation caused by calcium and heavy metal deposits in your joints! This is what is actually causing the arthritis inflammation not to mention the pain and immobility. Calcium does not bend, it only breaks. It is an excretion of parasitic organisms (bacteria, fungi, viruses, etc.) and causes not only pain but inflammation and leads to other diseases. Notice I did not mention adding extra calcium to help your joints or bones? We have an overabundance of “junk” calcium, from supplements to added dead calcium to our food products.

Ever look at an orange juice carton? Yes, added calcium. Please skip on these things as well as calcium supplements in general. Get your calcium from the greens in food or taking a calcium supplement in the orotate form (it is fully dissolved in your body.) The dead calcium, like in coral calcium and tablets, will end up in your joints, arteries, lungs, organs and even your brain. Calcium is essential for bone density and joint linings but it has to be the right type that can be fully absorbed and in proper combination with magnesium. See: Calcium Magnesium Supplement.

I took Glucosamine Condroitin for like 3 year and it helped my knees a little bit, but wasn’t that huge of an improvement. I did some research and saw that a lot of people recommended Glucosamine Sulfate over Hydrocloride, so I switched to that like 2 months ago, and so far I feel a lot more improvement in my joints compared to when I was taking the other stuff.

  2. I’ve had better luck with a liquid glucosamine supplement than with pills; it’s mid-range in terms of price.

  3. i have pain in my knees so I recently started using this .From what Iv gathered it takes months to take effect .

  4. It does work – I play a lot of tennis and run and it definately helped my joints – just look it up – it has great reviews.

  5. IM 17 should i take this my joints make poping noises often?

  6. if you got joint problems, it will work.

  7. dont worry my lower back used to hurt when I did squats then I started glucosamine and the pain is gone

  8. i took the regular one without chondroiton and it works just fine. if you can’t afford this one the glucosamine sulfate works just fine. if you got more money, go with the this one plus MSM. it is the best mix but will cost about 30 dollars a bottle. even if someone is not injured, if you lift heavy, your joints are getting worn out. it just takes a little more time before you snap some shit up.

  9. Don’t get off these supplements. It’s one you take forever. Trust me, if you stay on it, you’ll be thanking full. It’s good stuff, esp over the long run…

  10. Would u recommend it to people of all ages. Like a 17 year old?

  11. I’ve been taking glucosamine for just over a year. The stuff I bought was pretty cheap too. I had some joint pains before I took it (since I workout 5 days a week), and I can’t say for a fact that its the glucosamine pills that did it for me, but I dont have any joint pains anymore.

  12. im curious, does daily use of glucosamine and chondroitin stop or reduce the amount the body creates naturally, can you become somewhat dependant on these supplements? i would appreciate any advice as i, and others i know have been experiencing trouble with our knees.

  13. Thank you doll for this article. I am really having a problem with inflammation. I’m hoping this will help with my tennis elbow. 🙂

  14. I just started to take Glucosamine and MSM 4 days ago…I think you make a good point here, it will take some time…I’m not a big weight lifter, I’m a fighter and my elbow is killing me for years…my point is, even if it takes long, did you get better ?

  15. Glucosamine and Chondroitin work somewhat. For better results you should look into hydrolyzed collagen , ideally from Bovine source, for joint health. It’s like a night at day difference. Feels like theres more “spring” in my body.

  16. MSM and Vitamin D also help for joint repair

  17. It takes weeks for this product to start helping. You won’t see anything after one week of using it. I’ve been taking it for about 6 months, and after 2 knee surgeries, i can tell a difference in the knee joint itself. I can run, lift, and play ball now without much pain.

  18. people buy this shit like crazy at the vitamin store where i work

Greetings from California! I’m bored at work so I decided to check out your blog on my iphone during lunch break. I enjoy the information you provide here and can’t wait to take a look when
I get home. I’m shocked at how quick your blog loaded on my phone .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .
    . Anyways, very good site!

  20. I’m using Celadrin cream and Voltaren cream as topical ointments, and Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM and fish oil as oral supplements. After about 3 weeks saw moderate reduction to knee pain; after 8 weeks the knee was about 80 – 85% better. I run about 30 minutes per day and the pain was at the point where I could barely tolerate it any more. Now I have a bit of pain after the run but it is tolerable and still improving.

  21. I’m glad to hear that you’re able to run now, with a lot less pain. Keep up taking all that is working for you. Keeping active will help you reduce stress, chronic inflammation and keep your body more fluid.
